About Laura
Laura Peace grew up with an innate passion and natural eye for style, fashion, and, most notably, jewelry. In 1984, She began her career in the fine jewelry business as a buyer for Tiffany & Co. in New York. There she worked diligently among the world's leading gemologists and suppliers, carefully laying the foundation for her own future business. She then brought her impeccable taste, passion for jewelry, and creative ingenuity to Atlanta, Georgia, where she opened the doors to Laura Pearce Ltd. (LPL) in 1989.
Since that time, LPL has been and now continues to be one of the country's preeminent sources for classic engagement and bridal, estate, and custom jewelry. Laura and her team embody a unique and enthusiastic company culture that attracts a vast and rapidly growing, loyal clientele from across the country and abroad.
In addition to Laura's eponymous LPL Signature Collection, she also sources and curates from many of the foremost craftsmen and distributors and the finest jewelry designers across the globe, including Temple St Clair, Penny Preville, JB Star, and Gumuchian. Her remarkable inventory is owed not only to her refined taste, but also to her deep and practical understanding of the jewelry market and her decades-long relationships with those top suppliers, designers, and craftsmen.
She is constantly enhancing, refining, and expanding what she's built into one of the most extraordinary independent jewelry businesses in the country. Plus, her keen ability to bring to life the unique visions of her clients and exceed their expectations has earned her a sterling reputation. Laura is incredibly grateful for her many longtime, loyal, and valued customers, and invites new clients to visit in person or connect online to let her know how she can help meet your jewelry needs and enliven your ideas!Laura graduated from Hollins College in Virginia, and completed her studies at the Gemological Institute of America. Laura and her husband, Tom, have two adult children and live in Atlanta with their yellow labs, Finn and Rita.
